I, Emre Pehlevan, operate this personal website and portfolio platform. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, store, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information that I gather through this website, online interactions, and any related services (collectively, my "Services"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other data I may collect, such as information obtained offline, from job applicants, or from employees.

Ad Networks and Advertising Partners: I work with third-party ad networks and advertising partners to deliver advertising and personalized content on websites and services that I do not operate, and across other devices. These parties may collect information directly from a browser or device when an individual visits my Services through cookies or other data collection technologies. This information is used to provide and inform targeted advertising, as well as to provide advertising-related services such as reporting, attribution, analytics and market research.
With Your Consent: I may disclose personal information about an individual to certain other third parties or publicly with their consent or direction. For example, with an individual's consent or direction, I may post their testimonial on my websites or other Services.

5. Targeted Advertising

I rely on third-party advertising networks and other advertising technology providers ("AdTech Providers") to serve targeted online ads to users of other companies' websites and online services. These ads are targeted at users that I or AdTech Providers believe would be interested in my Services. To enable these targeted ads, I may disclose the following types of personal information about visitors to my website and viewers of my ads to AdTech Providers:

What Services of mine they have used
Date and time of when they used my Services
Inferred interests

AdTech Providers use this information to make the online ads users see more relevant to their interests and provide advertising-related services such as reporting, attribution, analytics and market research. AdTech Providers combine the personal information that I disclose to them with data they may have collected about the same individuals elsewhere, such as when those individuals use other websites and online services that rely on the same AdTech Providers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the collection and use of your personal information by AdTech Providers. I recommend that you review AdTech Providers' privacy policies for more information.

6. Control Over Your Information

There are a variety of ways in which you can control how my Services process your personal information.

Delete or Reset my Services: If you stop using my website, I may still process any personal information I collected from you before you stopped using my Services. You can also reset your browser's advertising identifier, in which case you will appear to me and my advertising partners as a new user that is not associated with any prior activity or data.

Change my Services' Access to Your Device Information: You may control my Services' access to your device information through your "Settings" app on your device. For instance, you can withdraw permission for my Services to access your network devices and location data and to integrate with your other applications.

Right to non-discrimination: You may have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. However, please note that if the exercise of these rights limits my ability to process personal information (such as in the case of a deletion request), I may no longer be able to provide you with my products and services or engage with you in the same manner.
Right to withdraw consent: There are certain circumstances where I request your consent to process your personal information. In these instances, if you have provided consent, you may have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of my use of your personal information before your withdrawal.

If you are above the age of 12 but under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if this is higher than 18), you must ask your parent or legal guardian to read this Privacy Policy because you are not allowed to use my Services without the permission of your parent or legal guardian.

The length of time for which I retain personal information depends on the purposes for which I collect and use it and how long I need to retain it to comply with applicable laws. Once personal information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, I delete it.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and I will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page. When I make changes to this Privacy Policy, I will change the date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. Any new policy will be effective from the date it is published by me.
